Nissan and Honda Might Be Merging

It’s Wednesday (at least when this is published), which means we’re halfway through a crazy week! Before I get into it, I want to talk briefly about the schedule. Nissan and Honda Merging?!

Nikkei Asia is reporting that Nissan and Honda are about to start talks regarding merging. This would, if my rough math is correct, make the combined company the 4th largest automaker in the world (alliance issues notwithstanding). I’m not surprised.
