Over the past day or so, several government websites have gone offline as the current administration, helped by non-elected official Elon Musk, has been majorly editing or wiping out sites for political reasons. That might be okay with you, but for many it sets a dangerous precedent.

Some people are actively working to preserve that data, by having the Internet Archive and others back them up on the internet. While I don’t have those same resources available, I figure the more copies of the websites out there the better. So I’ve took to archiving them myself and making them available to you.

At the time of this publication, Ready.gov, NHTSA.gov, and Climate.gov are all available to download from my home lab’s private server. You can access the files directly to download through an Onion connection (so neither I nor anyone else can track you), or through a BitTorrent.

(Note: I’m not a massive data center. I’m not an IT professional. I’m just trying to spread the word and make these files even more readily available. I apologize in advance if the process doesn’t go as smoothly as you expect, but I am making every effort to simplify it.)

If you have the means to download the BitTorrent and continue seeding it, I’d appreciate it. It helps tremendously with the stability and longevity of the files so even if I have server issues you can still get to the files.
