Extraordinary Threat to Life or Property

As I’m writing this, I just received an alert across my devices that my county is under an Extreme Cold Watch starting at 1:00 AM EST on January 20, 2025. Wind chill readings of -25°F are possible. While it’s predicted to be over by Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service does say it could last through the evening.

That means it’s going to be cold. The last time it was cold like this in my area, there was a Tesla Supercharging station that stopped operating in Chicago. Because one DCFC was non-operational and a few cars had to find other places to charge, all EVs are dumb and useless.
